The Trollfjord - magical and historic
Join us on a nature safari to the majestic Trollfjorden. In large rib boats, we move close to the elements. On the trip, we pass Kabelvåg and Svolvær before heading towards Raftsundet. Here you can experience precipitous mountains, get the history of small displaced fishing villages and, if we’re lucky, also the majestic sea eagle. Nordland is the sea eagle’s kingdom, here we find the largest concentration of sea eagles in the whole world. In the narrow and fabled Trollfjord, you get the story of the dramatic Battle of Trollfjord and of Lofoten’s history and importance for a thousand years. We say goodbye to Trollfjorden and we head back to Henningsvær.
