Midnight Sun Safari
Lofoten Adventure offers Midnight sun safaris from 15.06 till 15.08.
Henningsvær is 200 km north of the Arctic Circle. From 23 May we have sun around the clock. At night, the sun is low and the light is at its most beautiful. With large rib boats, we go from Henningsvær and west through narrow straits out to the ocean on the outer side. We look for sea eagles, puffins and seals on the trip. If we’re lucky, we’ll also spot whales.
Meet at our premises in Henningsvær at 21.45. We dress you up in wind and waterproof wetsuits and give a safety briefing before the trip.
YOU NEED: Good shoes, sweater, wind jacket, hat, scarf and gloves. A water proof bag for the camera is also good to have.
